Had a great meeting with the development team and some M5 beta users today. Kinda giddy after seeing our wireframe designs become real functional. Kinda anxious to have this milestone in our hands.
Looks about a couple of weeks before we move Milestone 5 version onto our production environment.
Wow! 5 years of development, over 20,000 harvests of data made a very large real-life sandbox to live in this gargantuan problem of labor efficiency in construction.
One of the craziest things we learned is how many attempts leave out the key involvement of each individual skilled craft laborer in the equation.
We flipped this thinking around and engage and empower each skilled laborer to become a driving force of the solution.
Collaboration on steroids indeed.
Our small team is excited to expand who we can help.
We've been very hard at work the past 5 years. Doing what? Battle-testing a modern communications tool that helps the people on the front lines of construction, the skilled craft laborers coordinate their work and get faster, better communications with the other professionals who are not physically at the construction site.
As we put the finishing touches on Milestone 5 features and functionality of Built Data we are getting ready to make this tool commercially available to others.
So, I will start up the blog to share real-life examples of what we are doing and who is being impacted by it.
The construction industry is a very challenging one to work in, primarily due to the highly fragmented nature of the organizations and people who come together for each building project.
Being a tech person myself, I watch as people who live hyper-connected personal lives walk onto construction sites and go into information blackholes and operate mostly on hearsay and half-truths.
No more! Join us in a better way for construction field communications.
Built Data is the way. Join us and we got your back!
